Installing DealSignal's Chrome extension requires a few steps that differ from the typical installation via the Chrome Web Store. Follow these instructions to get started.
Step 1: Download the Zip Archive
Obtain the zip archive containing the DealSignal Chrome extension files from the provided source. Contact us at [email protected] if you don't have access to the file
Step 2: Unpack the Zip Archive
Locate the downloaded zip archive on your computer.
Right-click the file and select "Extract All" (Windows) or use a similar extraction tool (Mac) to unpack the contents to a folder.
Step 3: Open Chrome Extensions Page
Open Google Chrome.
Click on the three vertical dots in the upper right corner to open the menu.
Navigate to "More tools" > "Extensions".
Step 4: Enable Developer Mode
On the Extensions page, toggle the "Developer mode" switch located in the upper right corner.
Step 5: Load Unpacked Extension
Click the "Load unpacked" button.
In the dialog that appears, navigate to the folder where you unpacked the zip archive.
Select the folder containing the extension files, then the "app" folder inside of it and click "Select Folder".
Step 6: Verify Installation
The DealSignal extension should now appear in your list of installed extensions.
Ensure the extension is enabled and properly functioning.
